The Schiltkamp Gallery is proud to display 30 black and white photographs by Yoav Horesh, a Maine-based photographer and arts educator who has intimately documented his new home in Kittery. Named Admiralty Village, it is a unique place — it was originally home to Portsmouth Navy Yard workers in the 1940s. The neighborhood was established to support a flourishing maritime endeavor during wartime. Today, with 225 double units and 150 single-family homes, some of its residents are still part of the Naval industry in Kittery, though many units were sold to small families and individuals who make up the contemporary fabric of a humble community on the Maine Seacoast.
